Stephen brings a wealth of experience from building and managing successful companies such as Procommhs and Promac Utilities. Karl contributes a strong technical foundation over the last 21 years, underpinned by extensive industry qualifications and hands-on expertise.
Together, they have built a team capable of delivering comprehensive mechanical solutions from external mains installation right through to final system commissioning. Welcome Trust MRI
CHW Parallel Pipework Installation
Installation of new chilled water pipework serving a Philips MRI scanner. Works included fabrication and installation of parallel flow and return lines to allow live system switch-over with minimal downtime. The project involved full supply, install, pressure testing, water treatment, and ongoing commissioning completed under tight clinical access constraints within a six-hour window.
Manchester Science Park
Boiler & Plate Heat Exchanger Installation
Replacement of existing boiler and installation of new plate heat exchanger to improve system efficiency and isolation between primary and secondary circuits. Works included supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of all pipework and controls within a restricted plantroom space.

External Pipework Repairs & Reinstatement – Works ongoing
Investigation and repair of existing external heating and domestic mains pipework. Works included precision saw cutting, excavation, isolation, and replacement of damaged sections before reinstating surfaces to original condition. Delivered under tight access restrictions with full safety segregation and live-service management.
Heron House – Ministry of Defence
Plate Heat Exchanger Install
Full replacement of the existing boiler plant and hot-water generation system in a live residential block. Works included installation of high-efficiency boilers, unvented hot-water cylinder, and all associated distribution pipework. The project was completed with full testing, insulation, and commissioning while maintaining continuous building operation.
Mixed-Use Development
Full Plantroom Installation with ASHP Integration
Complete mechanical installation including roof-mounted air source heat pumps, gas-fired backup boiler, buffer vessel, indirect cylinder, and HVRF system. Scope covered all plantroom pipework, controls, testing, and commissioning. The system was designed to provide high-efficiency heating and hot water across multiple building zones.

Boiler Replacement & Unvented Cylinder Installation
Full replacement of existing boiler plant serving domestic and heating systems within a live residential building. Works included installation of new boilers, unvented hot water cylinder, and associated copper distribution pipework. All systems were tested, insulated, and commissioned with minimal disruption to residents.

Full Plantroom Installation
Complete installation of new plantroom serving indirect hot water cylinder, heater batteries, and air handling unit. Scope included all pipework fabrication, pump sets, insulation, controls integration, and commissioning. Delivered from first fix through to system handover within a tight city-centre site.
